Annual Statistical Report 2009 |
The latest in a series of annual statistical reports produced by Aimhigher Greater Manchester including estimates of the overall rates of participation in higher education by young people in the sub-region is now available to download.
Participation in HE from Aimhigher target groups continues to rise, and the rate of increase is above the average for all groups. The growth is fastest in the most deprived boroughs. There is a continued need to work to support progression into full-time education at age 16. Most Greater Manchester boroughs are below the national average rate of attainment of Level 3 qualifications by age nineteen.
