What is Aimhigher?
Aimhigher is the Government’s initiative to widen participation in higher education in England through activities that raise the aspirations of young people.

And in Greater Manchester?
The Aimhigher Greater Manchester partnership involves 7 higher education institutions, 10 local authorities, 23 colleges and more than 150 schools.  The coordination unit is based in the Open University’s regional office in Sharston, South Manchester but the Aimhigher team includes key staff in all ten boroughs and all universities and higher education institutions.
